Holiday shoes
If you have the luxury of gtravelling by car then there is no restriction but with Travel Companies now charging for your luggage it makes it more important to select your shoes carefully.
Having just returned from an activity holiday in Dalyan, Turkey I was needing shoes for lots of activity but was also aware of the amount of walking at airports,in the town and how different your feet feel in the soaring temperatures. So pack a pair of walking shoes or sandals that you can rely on.
So I have pulled together a few tips.
If the shoes are a snug fit in the UK and you are going to a hotter country your feet may well swell, so take shoes with space and adjustability.
Select shoes with heels carefully as many holiday desticnations have uneven paving and cobbles, and street lighting may not be brilliant. Wedges are better on uneven surfaces and also grass.
Feet perspire the equivalent of an egg-cup of moisture every day. This incresases in hot conditions. ECCO shoes have ant-bacterila insoles. If you clean the foot bed then keep your feet hygeinic and leasnat by spraying the shoes with Foot Refresher Spray - it really works!
There is nothing more miserable than sore feet, so think beofre you pack and ahve a lovely holiday.
