I have bought ECCO shoes, how do I clean them?
We recommend ECCO shoe care products, which have been developed for the care of your shoes, see summary below, but please read the instructions on the containers.
To get the best from your ECCO shoes, we recommend you follow the clean, care and protect method of shoes care.
Clean
- All upper materials: Use ECCO Cleaning Foam, or use a slightly damp cloth to remove excess dirt. Always allow shoes to dry naturally, away from any direct heat.
- Additionally for Nubuck & Suede use ECCO Nubuck & Suede Eraser or Suede Brush to remove dust and dirt and restore the nap to the shoe.
Care
- Smooth leathers: ECCO Daily Care Cream, keeps leather soft and supple. For an instant shine use ECCO Shoe shine sponge.
- Nubuck & Suede: Use ECCO Suede and Nubuck Conditioner, to conditioned and restored.
- Oiled Nubuck, Suede & Yak: Use ECCO Oil Nubuck Conditioner, or ECCO Wax Oil.
Protect
- Smooth Leather, Suede & Nubuck: Spray with ECCO Universal Waterproofing Spray.
- Oiled Nubuck, Suede & Yak use ECCO Oil Nubuck Waterproofing Spray.
Before wearing
Treat Nubuck, suede & textile shoes with ECCO Universal Waterproofing Spray, to protect them from dirt and dust.
All ECCO cleaning products, with the exception of ECCO Shoe Shine Sponge, can be used with GORE-TEX® lined footwear and Hydromax leather footwear.
Cleaning Biom Shoes treated with ion-mask™
To clean and maintain any footwear that has undergone the ion-mask™ process we recommed that they are cleaned using ECCO Cleaning Foam, no other treatment is necessary as the ion-mask™ protects the leather.
