Definition: Biom
Biom is the result of the ECCO Biom project into the natural motion of walking and running. The human foot has evolved as a natural shock absorber, with its 26 bones, 32 muscles and tendons and 107 ligaments; the pronating motion of the foot as been tuned by nature for walking and running. ECCO Biom is designed to enable the foot to move in the most natural way possible, allowing the foot to get stronger.
ECCO Biom shoes combine the results of the Biom Project with ECCOs philosophy of "Following the Foot," they have all the hallmarks of ECCO shoes - lightness, flexibility, durability and outstanding quality.
