Definition: Direct Injection Moulding

This method of sole attachment is used on the majority of shoes in the ECCO range either as single or double density polyurethane. It can be injected in various densities and combinations e.g. PU/PU or TPU/PU. Direct injection moulding creates a water tight and secure to uppers bonding.
